A green emergency eyewash and first aid station is mounted on a wall in a laboratory. In the background, a lab worker in a white coat is handling glassware, surrounded by shelves and counters filled with bottles and equipment.

Eyewash

Cederroth Eyewash enables quick and effective rinsing in the event of eye accidents. It contains a buffered solution that helps neutralise splashes of alkalis and acids, and works to restore the eye’s natural pH value. The effect is generally stronger against alkalis than acids.

Product advantages

Cederroth Eyewash is designed to be used quickly by anyone in an emergency. In the event of a chemical eye injury, time to rinsing is crucial to reduce the risk of permanent damage. The eyewash therefore opens automatically when removed from the holder, provides a constant and generous flow to the eye, and contains a buffered solution that helps neutralise splashes of alkalis and acids*. The product complies with EN 15154-4:2009.

  • Buffered liquid with neutralising effect*
  • Opens automatically when removed from the holder – start rinsing immediately
  • Ergonomic eye cup that helps keep the eye open
  • Designed for effective rinsing – ensures a generous and even flow

In accidents involving calcium-containing substances such as cement, concrete or lime, Cederroth Eyewash can be used as the solution is phosphate-free. This is particularly important as phosphates can react with calcium ions and cause complications.
