Date receives an exclusive makeover – Europe’s leading perfume houses revamp this Swedish classic.
Since 1976, Date has been a popular scent among Sweden’s young female population. Now this classic is undergoing a major transformation. The result is four new fragrances developed by some of Europe’s most well-known perfume houses, in new clean-lined bottles and packaging.
The four new fragrances range from feminine rose tones to spicy oriental. All girls and women will be able to find their own personal favourite among the new Date scents: Dangerously Delicious, Absolute Attraction, Truly Treasured and Everyday Escape.
As the amount of perfume in the scents has been increased by 50 percent they are now classified as Eau de Toilette. The new fragrances were developed by three of Europe’s leading perfume houses that have previously developed scents such as Tresór by Lancôme, White Linen by Estée Lauder and Envy Me by Gucci.
“Almost all girls and women have used Date at some stage in their lives – and this fantastic product is now receiving an exclusive makeover. We are extremely proud of our four new sophisticated fragrances and we are confident they will be very popular,” says Katrin Calder, International Brand Manager for Date.
In addition to the four new Eau de Toilette fragrances, we have developed four new roll-on antiperspirants with the same names and scents. These mild antiperspirants guarantee 24-hour protection against perspiration and odour and are free from alcohol and colour additives.
The new Date products will be available in retail stores from August 3, 2008. Date will also be available in select grocery stores and supermarkets from October. Date EdT 50 ml will cost around SEK 99 and Date roll-on antiperspirant from around SEK 29.
The new fragrances
Dangerously Delicious is a spicy oriental scent made up of blackcurrant, jasmine, bergamot combined with vanilla, patchouli, wood and citrus. A rich, warm fragrance with a feminine edge.
Absolute Attraction is scented with feminine tones – rose, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley and sandalwood. A fragrance that is easy to like and make your own.
Truly Treasured is a charming and vibrant scent based on raspberry, jasmine and violets. Truly Treasured is hard to resist and leaves no one untouched.
Everyday Escape has elements of refreshing citrus, peach and freesia balanced with warm wood tones. A fresh scent suitable for all occasions.
